Lauren’s Blog Post #3

Ahoy Mateys! It’s Captain Lauren for yer third blog post. The word of the blog is hypocrite. Not that i’m not calling you one. The word hypocrite is interesting because are we always trying to be one? I like to think of it as sometimes I can be a hypocrite because I want better for people I care about when I know I’m not doing the best thing. For example I would tell any of you how important it is for a sailor to rest at a decent time because when it’s time to set sail the next morn it’s key to be as sharp as a hook to complete the tasks of the day. That’s some great advice that I don’t always use myself but I can give it because I know there are times I walk around like Davy Jones because I wasn’t resting when I should have been. Before calling someone a hypocrite I suggest thinking first, do they have the experience to want better for me? Thank yer for reading Beacon Crew and I will see you soon.
