FILIPINO AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH 🇵🇭☀️

Hello Beacon students, it’s Stacey here. I hope you all are doing well :)

I would like to take a moment to mention that the entire month of October is "Filipin@/Filipinx American History Month (FAHM)". FAHM month commemorates the history of Filipino American ancestors who paved a way for future generations through activism, significantly impacting society today. FAHM is also a great way to celebrate and embrace Filipino heritage and culture.

Although some may not know a lot of detail about FAHM as well as the Filipino identity, here is a link for a Youtube video that simplifies what FAHM is and why it exists.

Keep a look out for future blog posts, informative videos, and possibly activities that I will be posting in honor of FAHM.

ISANG BAGSAK ! (unity clap for the fallen)
